Laurie Steelink

Cosmic hemoglobins create a world of swirling layers. Painted on paper, these works can seem fragile while bold and in your face overwhelming. Oversized organic microcosms bubble and bounce. They are viscous motion, loud to the point of cartoonish yet their nature inspired forms trigger science not comics. While their heritage is the 60's, these organisms are contemporary like the discovery of a new star.

The show was at Track 16.
